About
I’m Jessica Cranford, and my journey to creating resources for families navigating ADHD and addiction is deeply personal. As someone who has lived with ADHD, as well as a mother to a child with ADHD, I understand the challenges and heartache that come with feeling misunderstood or unsupported. My experience with ADHD is not just my own—it’s something I see and feel every day in my family, with loved ones and friends who also struggle with addiction.Growing up, there was so much misinformation and a lack of understanding surrounding ADHD. The resources were limited, and the support was almost nonexistent. As a result, parents did the best they could with the little knowledge they had, often feeling isolated and unsure of how to help their children succeed. I know this struggle all too well—both as a child and now as a parent. For 10 years, I worked as a teacher in both general and special education. I saw firsthand the gaps in understanding, the frustrations, and the heartache that children with ADHD and their families faced. I became a passionate advocate for those who felt like they didn’t have a voice. But even with my training and experience, I realized there were still so many unanswered questions, especially when it came to supporting families through the complexities of ADHD and addiction. That’s why I created these resources. I want to help parents and caregivers feel seen, heard, and supported. I want to provide practical tools and emotional encouragement for families who are navigating these difficult waters. My mission is to offer what I wish I had growing up—clarity, support, and guidance—so that others don’t have to feel alone in their journey.I am here because I believe in the power of knowledge and compassion. Together, we can build a better, more understanding future for those impacted by ADHD and addiction. I’ve lived it, I’ve taught it, and I’m committed to helping others find the resources and support they need to thrive.
